It is with great pleasure that I welcome your child/children to the 2020-2021 school year at St. Francis Catholic School!
Earlier this year, we came face to face with the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, which altered every aspect of our lives. This forced, not only our faculty and staff, but our students and parents, to adjust to the challenges of an alternative mode of education: distance learning. Ultimately, we persevered and fulfilled the remaining 2019-2020 school year.
As we approach the new school year, the SFCS faculty, staff, Mr. Quitigua and I are determined to continue to strive for an engaging, comfortable, and above all, a safe learning environment for our students. We are working closely with the Office of Catholic Education to ensure that we implement safety measures during this pandemic (Awaiting approval. See our homepage for details).
Whether you are new or returning to St. Francis Catholic School, we look forward to working with our parents to provide the necessary support and encouragement your children need to succeed. We want our students to be able to explore their imaginations and expand their knowledge and perspectives through respectful interactions with their peers and adults within the school campus. With your participation and support, we will set the foundation for the best education and environment rooted by Catholic values and traditions.
Biba St. Francis!
Motus spirito,
Dr. Lisa Baza-Cruz
